ARTWORK GUIDELINES for Covercards, Inserts, Inlays, Folders
and Booklets:
- We prefer your artwork to be supplied as Adobe Illustrator
or Photoshop documents or as EPS-files and colormode CMYK (Euroscale).
We also accept any standard PC or Mac file format: jpeg, bmp,
tif, pdf, etc. with a minimum resolution of 300 dpi with image
size as actual size.
- Preferably supply your artwork-files on a CD-R.
- Include a list of all files and fonts used in your artwork
design.
- For your convenience templates are available for download to
help you create your artwork.
- Don’t leave template lines in your artwork, if you do,
please make sure that they can be removed: use different layers
for template and artwork!
- Design your artwork in the area to be printed and don't place
text or graphics too close to the edges.
- Remember a "bleed zone" IS necessary here! The bleed
zone is the area that exceeds the dimensions of the printed matter
by 3 mm to prevent your artwork from having white edges after
cutting.
- If you save your artwork as an ai-, psd-document or an eps-file,
please don't forget to outline all text and include all fonts
used.
- Always include colour printouts of your artwork for reference.
- Click the link next to the images to download the templates.
