- For your convenience we've got a few templates to download below to help you create your artwork.
- Don’t leave template lines in your artwork, if you do,please make sure that they can be removed: use different layers for template and artwork!
- Don’t knock out the center hole in the CD face artwork. Standard printable media generally have a non printable center area with a diameter of 38 mm Ø; hub printable media have a non printable center area of 16 to 22 mm depending upon the brand of media used.
- Design your artwork in the printable area of the CD, DVD or Blu-ray Disc (unlike for booklets, cover cards, inlays and other printed matter, no "bleed zone" of 3 mm is necessary here) and don't place text or graphics too close to the edges.
- If you save your artwork as an ai-, psd- or eps-file, please don't forget to outline all text and include any fonts used.
- Always include colour printouts of your artwork for reference.
